Ms. Elaine Wayne Walker MA BA (Hons) CELTA
Head of Quality and Operations at Bellmont College


Elaine Wayne Walker brings over 18 years of experience within the Education sector, covering higher education (HE) and further education (FE) in the UK, as well as within the English Language Teaching (ELT) sector across the UK, Malta, and Russia. She is a visiting professor, a frequent presenter at international conferences, and an accomplished author and co-author affiliated with the Financial University of Russia in Moscow. Her work comprises of several publications primarily focused on English language and education.
Elaine achieved her BA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of East London in 2012, followed by an MA in English Language Teaching in 2013. A certified English Language Teacher, she holds CELTA and ELT Teacher Trainer certifications. Additionally, she has experience as an examiner for City & Guilds IESOL spoken examinations. She has contributed to privately and publicly funded educational institutions at college and university levels.
Her career spans a wide range of roles within educational departments, including academic administration, admissions, quality, teaching, lecturing, and examining. This comprehensive expertise has driven her into key leadership positions in educational management including Director of Studies, Academic Manager for Higher Education, Head of Registry and Student Services, and Head of Quality and Operations.
Elaine is genuinely passionate about education and is committed to encouraging and investing in others to achieve their success, just as she has throughout her career.
